This year's G-8 summit will be held at Lake Toya in Hokkaido, and one of the key issues will be how to accelerate initiatives to address the environmental problems the world is facing. Reducing the energy consumption of IT equipment and using IT to reduce society's energy consumption are the two pillars of the Japanese government's “Green IT” initiative. Mr. Okada will discuss the direction of Japan's IT policies and the roles that corporations and organizations, both inside and outside of Japan, should play. |

In addition, for my students to become stronger, I feel it is important to help them cultivate a sense of gratitude toward those around them. If they understand that their ability to excel in what they do rests on the support of those around them, they can convert pressure into strength. This presentation will focus on how judo builds character. |

Employees, too, must actively develop new ideas and contribute to the success of their corporations.
